BECKER COLLEGE GAME NEWS

The Becker College Gamers' Fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21st. from 10am to 10pm in the Design Building on the corner of Fruit and Cedar streets [45 Cedar St.]. There will be game tournaments with cash prizes, art and vendor sales, a bake sale, free pizza and drinks, open games to be played, and more. $1 entry fee, $2 for entering tournaments, and it's open to everyone!

Senior Game major Nick Allain is having screenings of his latest film, Something Remote, all across Worcester this month. Matt Sylvia, Kyle Mahota, Nick Gaffny, and Dave Drouin completed excellent 3D models for their internships with the Danforth museum -- check out the 360 degree videos HERE. Jim Beals, a senior in Game Design, worked at Blue Fang Games this summer, and now works for Turbine. Dave Santana, senior in the Game Design program, was featured in Worcester Magazine for his experience as a game student and his work with the Worcester E-Lounge.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Andrew Silvernail, Patrick Walley, and James Grant have won first place in the annual game contest at 38 Studios TWO YEARS in a row! Why not play the winning game -- it was made in Game Maker 7.
