Becker College's Game Development majors do not just study game design and programming -- we also PLAY games. It's research! The social aspects of the program center around the Game Lab and the Design Building.
Our parties are held in the Design Building where challenges are posed and records set. We have a party about 3 times a semester, posted here on the Game Calendar, the Discussion Board and on the Facebook group.
The Becker Game Design Club meets twice a week and concentrates on creating student titles -- using Game Maker currently.
The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture meets in the Design Building every Friday to study modern visual culture -- or watch anime!
